Sandy Hill lives in Tamarac with four rescue dogs and a furball kitty. Her love for animals has produced many wildlife paintings and recently a whole line of 'fantasy animals'.
Sandy was raised on the waters in Southern Connecticut and therefore has produced many ocean/sea related artworks. "I think an artist has to 'feel' the subject to do it justice."
Through the medium of art, Sandy has raised monies for various charities: breast cancer, mental awareness, autism, and the humane society. For almost two years she has volunteered at Willowood Asst. Living home on Friday teaching art to a core group of seniors...three of which are 94 "and get more hits than me on my Facebook page!"
To be an artist is to be blessed.
